House Codes
HOUSE CODES
A house is not defined by the objects it creates, but by the beliefs from which those objects emerge.
Maison Shéron’s codes give visible form to those beliefs. Across leather goods, footwear, trunks, accoutrements and objects, recurring materials, forms, symbols and details establish continuity without demanding uniformity.
ARCHIVAL CANVAS™
Archival Canvas™ is a foundational material of the House, engineered for repeated use and chosen with longevity in mind. Its surface connects disciplines while allowing each object to retain its own purpose and character.
It reflects the belief that every material must be selected with intention and every creation made worthy of preservation.
THE HALO
The Halo is the House’s expression of protection, elevation and continuity. It appears in silhouette, proportion, structure and mark.
More than decoration, it is a recurring geometry through which an object becomes recognizably Maison Shéron.
THE ANGEL
The Angel represents the Spirit of Artisans: the hands, knowledge and disciplines entrusted with bringing an exceptional object into existence.
It affirms that mastery is a pursuit, never a possession, and that every artisan is responsible not only for what is created, but for the standard left behind.
THE FLOWER
The Flower is the House Seal, expressing hospitality, generosity and continuity.
It is a mark of welcome, care and the enduring spirit of Maison Shéron.
PROPRIETARY HARDWARE
At Maison Shéron, hardware is treated as architecture. Closures, corners, handles and structural elements are engineered as functional signatures, with the unseen receiving the same care as the seen.
Precious finishes serve construction, longevity and ritual rather than ornament alone.
PRECIOUS MATERIALS
Preciousness is measured not only by rarity, but by intention, performance and the dignity with which a material ages.
Leather, metal, crystal, wood and textile are chosen to serve the object, deepen through use and remain worthy of care.
001
001 identifies the inaugural Archival Canvas™ expression of an object. It is an archival code, not a model year: a record of origin within the continuing language of the House.
As future expressions evolve, the code preserves where each object began.
FAITHFUL EVOLUTION
The House does not remain unchanged. It remains faithful.
New disciplines, materials and technologies may enter the language only when they strengthen craftsmanship, extend longevity or deepen the relationship between an object and the life it accompanies.
